Well, I should have noted that I'm using the flexi 10 prod mgr & I'm pretty sure that option isn't there... Maybe I should just try the cutters software??
Thanks
Hello, my old D-620 had a very handy pre-feed function where it would roll out enough vinyl while cutting so it wouldn't lock itself up during cutting a large job. I can't figure out if the 300 does this. Nothing in the manual about it so I'm guessing not?? Sure would be a good thing though...
Does anyone know where to find a template of this? Do I just need to purchase a whole collection? I don't do car wraps so I haven't bought one but it would be handy. What's a good source? Thanks in advance!
Hello, you have the same exact problem I have. I was told it's a flaw in the design. Apparently this is pretty common for just the black to clog up like that. I just keep printing like this & it's not too bad but like someone else said the small stuff gets a little blurry around the edges so I...
Right on, thanks! I've been wanting one of those thermometers so I'll get right on that. I just figured controltac was the stuff but I guess there IS something better suited for trying to apply in those channels.
Hello, I never had issues with this before but I'm applying large laminated print decals of 3m controltac vinyl to the sides of vans & I'm having issues with the deep body lines of the van. The decals are roughly 3'x5' & the problem is that the air is not escaping from under the vinyl. Before I...
Well, this is all about to be behind me! Roland has offered to upgrade me to a GX-300 for free! I really think this is above & beyond good customer service. I still don't know what the issue is with this GX-24 though. The local service rep came out & reported that I was trying to do high end...
Well, I meant it wasn't completely cutting through the vinyl & I couldn't weed it. I always heard that the blade should just barely score the backing paper without cutting though the top layer of it. It's doing that now but it's skipping & not cleanly cutting.
Yep, I set it to the (half the thickness of a credit card) setting & went from there trying different ones. I just can't lose the stitch cutting result??
It was definitely set on 120 & I know what ya mean about factory settings. So I put in a new blade & holder & set it to 70 but it just barely cut through the vinyl so I kept trying & ended up at 90 when it would completely cut through the vinyl. It is a cleaner cut though but it does still have...
They tested it on 3 mil vinyl & sent the test print with it signed & dated. I wish I could take a pic of it & post but it's white vinyl on white backing & won't show up well. All the corners of the test cuts are rough & there is stitch cutting as well. I would have never passed it as...
If 120 grams is too much pressure than why did Roland send it to me like that?? Also, how could it be a hardware issue if it's a new machine, I started messing with all the settings & calibrations 2 machines ago. I'll fiddle with the pressure again though & just hope for the best. The steps per...
Well, the blade is set up the way Roland had it. I haven't changed anything except the speed which just altered the frequency of the "waves" in the cut. Maybe I am just a dumbass...
Well, this machine was tested & the vinyl they tested it on was included & it was signed & dated by those who inspected it. The results are not what I would call quality cuts at all. There is obvious stitch cutting & the corners of all the cuts are lifted a little. Again, my d620 doesn't look...
