RollePro - but in combination with the Geekwraps Big Easy. That tool is the very best $225 I've ever spent on any tool - ever. I can do a 57' trailer, by myself, in 6 hours using those two tools and a lift.
I gotta tell ya - these kinds of posts from people claiming to be "professionals" REALLY chap my hide. As a graphic install professional, you should know better than to assume something you've never done is "easy". My guess is you're gonna run through at least an entire roll of color change...
$300-400, depending on distance. Also depends on if I have to screw around with calling OUPS. That being said, I own a 1 man auger, so it's pretty straightforward.
Take this for what it's worth - but it DID lead to many less headaches for me. Back when I had employees (most I ever had at once was 5), they were paid a salary - not hourly. I give exactly ZERO F**ks how many hours someone works. At the beginning of the week they had their job assignments on...
My rule of thumb is simple. "Your (National Sign Company) inability to get paid from your client in a timely manner is not my problem." I probably do 10-15 jobs/year for these types of companies (normally large scale vinyl installation) and I've never had an issue getting paid quickly. Largest...
#1 has potential, but needs reworked.
Also, my initial thought with a name that sounds as playful as this, is that the logo needs to match that level of playfulness. #2 and #3 definitely do not do that.
See, that's the thing. I dont want their future business. I don't want their friends business either.
With very few exceptions, these clients are much like local race car guys. The only future "business" you get from them is more local race car guys who want you to "sponsor" them.
Fallen...
I honestly don't give a shit.
I am not rude about it, but when they get indignant about the price I kindly explain exactly what goes into their IMO decals, from layout time to weeding and taping. If they still dont understand, I send them to another guy in town who will do this stuff all day...
Wall wraps depend on the surface. We do a lot of this stuff wholesale to the trade. If it's a really large project that is smooth surface, then we are anywhere from $1.50-2/sf. If it's rough surface, then up to $4/sf depending on just how rough the surface is.
This does not include any costs...
Here's the thing that an employee has to understand - and sometimes they just dont ever grasp it. You are worth roughly 25-35% of what your presence increases the revenue of the shop by. So, if by bringing you on board, your employer can generate REVENUE of roughly $100k, then you're worth...
Hey folks - been quite a while. Thought I'd search the archives here and see if there was an answer, but I can't find one.
I've got several panels of Lintec window film to install. This stuff doesn't have any adhesive. All of Lintec's bulletins and videos show an adhesive being sprayed onto the...
Selling my 1304. Changing the direction of my shop and dont' feel like messing with it any more.Hasn't been printing for bout 3 weeks. Needs at least a maintenance station. Could possibly need a head as well. am not getting a seal from what I can diagnose. Has the take up reel and is set up...
