Hi I am trying to locate a broken or otherwise non usable Graphtec FC8000 or FC8600 for some hard to find parts so I can repair my trusty old friend. If you have one available please let me know what you would like for it.
Do you have an amazon link for the cart base? I like that alot and have immediate use as we are running around 15-30 48" x 96" x 3/4" acrylic sheets daily. Currently we are using a variety of carts and rolling tables which are okay but the pivot would make things alot safer.
We print on 3M 3635-210 and overlam with 3660M. One important thing to keep in mind that the perf direction needs to be the same for all letters. At times we apply the printed perf to the sheet then send to router and other times depending on how the letter nesting works out on the sheet, we...
Ive ran graphtecs and flexi for 24 years now and I am not the biggest fan of the FC9000. The 8600 was more stable in my opinion and I would go back in a heartbeat if I could find a brand new 60" 8600 for sale. I find myself having to turn it on and off to get it to work correctly quite a...
Hi Stephen. I believe we met at ISA in Orlando. My name is Dan and I am the Art Director at American Interstate Signcrafters in Boynton Beach FL. Just wanted to reach out and say hi and the offer still stands if you would like to come visit and tour our facility sometime.
We use alot of 3m 4910 VHB tape. Holds up great indoors and outdoors. Sometimes we use the adhesive promoter with it depending on what its being adhered to.
Im a huge fan of the 3M adhesive remover 8984. Leaves no residue when it evaporates. Its probably taken some years off of my life, but...
Has anyone experienced your 700W/800W getting stuck on preparing for sleep mode? The only way to get it unstuck is a hard reset. We are running Flexi Complete for RIP. My gut tells me its something that Flexi's Production manager is causing, perhaps an IP issue? We do have static IP's for...
We have done many 98" x 1110+" installs on 8' tall Home Depot channel letters. We use Tyvek on the larger patterns as it doesnt tear easily or fall apart when wet.
That is the 3M Code. first number designates the type of vinyl, in this case 680 is reflective. 77 is the color code. Unless you you are looking for a Pantone color code? I dont think there would be a Pantone color code for reflectives as they kinda change color depending on the light source...
Its not great to remove I have had instances of adhesive being left behind and alot of elbow grease and solvents to get it off. IJ8150 on the otherhand removes great and its optically clear. Just no Comply, so wet install.
Its in the direct sun. ACM expanded in the heat and due to mounting holes it had nowhere to expand so it bowed out. ACM mounting holes should be a little larger than the bolts going through it. Also it very much needs a frame and more mounting points. One strong gust of wind and thats...
I have used this trick with both frosted and dusted crystal vinyl. Maybe it will work with the film you are trying to remove. Give it at least an hour or more during soaking and it worked for me like a champ!
