I think we got the HP560 for around 16K, we got it new right before xmas last year. For sure the big difference, the 115 is only a 54" wide printer. I'd say the only thing that I'm getting use to with the 560 is you have to run a little more material out to start a run. I'm just use to the...
We just got our first Latex printer just over a year ago. No complaints on the printer, its not the HP115....its the HP560. But everything is good with the Latex
Looking for some help at the Wisconsin State Fair Park. This would be for events happening at the park as well as working on external client projects.
Under the general guidance of the Sign Shop Manager and administrative management from the Director of Creative Services, this position will...
The more I think about it, the more I'm leaning towards the Latex. How often to have to replace the print heads with those? I think the fact that you can change them out yourself. Thanks again for all your time!!
Hey Bigfish! When it comes with our UV printer, its a little slow. With fastest settings, I'm looking at around 25 minutes to print off a 4'x8'. When things start getting super busy I'll do some print/wraps just to help get jobs completed. I work at a fair, so its a lot of signage that only...
Hey Everyone,
I've been running solvent printers close to 10 years and about 5 for UV Inks. Been thinking about making the switch to Latex. Specifically looking at the HP Latex 560. I just wanted to reach out and see if there was anyone else that has made the switch to Latex and any input...
Thanks Kelvin,
Yeah that's pretty much what I'm looking for. I think what's happening is the power shuts off and turns right back on. So then the printer turns off, but when the power comes back it doesn't turn on. If we can get it so the backup can keep the printer on until the power comes...
Morning,
I wanted to reach out and ask if there was anyone out there that is using battery backups for their printers. We've lost power a few times and it always seems to happen over the weekend when no one is around. I don't want the printers sitting without any juice. I'm not looking to...
We are looking at getting some new equipment. Looking to get something that can do a direct to print as well as still be able to do roll to roll. We got a quote for the Rastek H652 UV Flatbed, just wanted to see if anyone out there has one or has worked with one. Just trying to see/hear about...
Thanks for the reply!!
We don't do a ton, but the amount that we do, it would be nice to keep it in house. Thanks for the links, I'll take a look and thanks again for the replay!! SKD
Quick questions about using a normal sewing machine to hem up banners? Anyone else out there doing this?? We don't want to sub them out, but also don't have the money to spend on a super nice banner sewing machine, thoughts/recommendations?
I see what you got going on....don't know if this is the answer but its my 2 cents so here we go: What if you take the circle with all the info and change that to red with a white gradient (like the arrow)....Then take your black font and change to white and give the white font a black outline...
