  1. Need Help Facemask Printing

Hi everyone, long time no talk. Hope everyone is doing OK in this crazy environment we are in. I am looking for a source for printed or custom facemasks, maybe dyesub, or other recommendations you may have. Can anyone point me in the right direction for this service? We are interested in...
  2. Advertisement and exposure for fairly new biz

Been a while since I've been here, but I recall spending 6,000 on a local Ad Agency to build a beautiful site in 2006/7 After a few months, zip, nada, nothing. I called the agency and she said, "Mike you didn't pay us for SEO" It was at that moment literally I went home to add to my basic skills...
  3. Wordpress- Deleting Media Issues

Hi if you still need help, please let me know.
  4. Need to make a new site - advice?

A little known site called livesite by camelback is what I started with and probably would still be with if my site wasn’t deleted accidentally by most host company. I made the leap to Wordpress and while I now like WP more I don’t have anything bad to say about livesite. Truly code free and...
  5. To laminate or not to laminate?

She’s in the medical field doing things at the various facilities up there.
  6. Need Help Signs2Trade Window Perf

That’s great if you are getting compensated for the optically clear laminate. You are using that as opposed to regular lam right? Also you should be adding at least another 2/sqft to cover th cost of optically clear. However, it should be clear many are telling you they have perf up for years...
  7. Need Help Signs2Trade Window Perf

The issue isn’t really lam or no lam The issue is only one type of lam can be used. If you don’t use optically clear lam then the view through is foggy and looks bad defeating the purpose of perf. Optically clear lam is historically expensive and a hard up sell considering so many go without lam.
  8. To laminate or not to laminate?

How weird my wife and I were just in Maine. Though in Bangor. We were in Bangor from October through first week of February. First time there and while it was damn cold I enjoyed the sites. I won’t be making that drive again until her next assignment. I was just hoping we’d get lucky. I love...

  12. Continuing job with Wasatch after paper runs out

Been a while since I had wasatch but something I remember was it depends on the connection from your printer and computer. Is yours a serial link, usb link or cat5 cable? Other thing is, have you looked at all wasatch offers, meaning if it has a way to help with any of that? Or is that why yours...
  13. Customer mix?

In my experience fortunately I’ve dealt mostly with marketing departments that order signage a lot. So often they’ll have measurements already (that I later check myself). They understand where’s it’s to be installed. Mostly they know a file need be only 100-150dpi at final size or vector sized...
  14. Customer mix?

Johnny do you find you work with the super of the large buildings that knows where things are actually at or is it with a random manager requesting your services? I’ve heard it’s always a good idea to get good with the building maintenance or super because they always fix and need signs.
  15. Customer mix?

That’s a nice mix for sure. I get the sense not everyone has such a mix. Maybe I’m wrong through. I prefer dealing with marketing departments inside of companies. Projects seem more interesting and the point of contact knows the language we speak a little bit. Whereas there’s much hand holding...
  16. Customer mix?

I’ll also throw out there, have you done something specific to end up with the clients you have or did it just happen that way?
  17. Customer mix?

Was wondering about the mix of customers people have. Many threads I read indicate that a lot of sign companies deal with direct end user. Birthday party or someone wanting a magnet for their car or just something personal for a client. Then there are those that work with corporations usually...

  20. Lightbox Panel Question

Guys this is for an interior sign box, in a retail location, so fortunately no lift needed. Also Piedmont Plastics is cutting to exact specs 47.25x119.5 But, I do like the idea of ploycarb and wondered if that is what the rep recommended. I would think Poly is more expensive? Anyway I will...
