I know this thread is 3 years old but it's getting harder to find hp inks. Has anyone found an aftermarket ink that works well in a 26500?

I just got an HP 26500 and I have the setting to idle after 30 minutes, but is there a way to force it to idle? I'm probably only going to use this things once per week starting out. Should I just let it idle all the time so it will do it's thing or can I power it down? I never had one of...

Yes, I believe what they have is an MDO style, or the like. What is APC substrate? I do not have a picture of their current sign, and I am not trying to "recreate" the previous sign, but replace it.
