If they are the plastic ones with the tab just cut the tab off. Of course then you run the risk of the ink running out completely but in my experience got about an extra 20 - 30 metres

We took the plunge 15 years ago. Once you get the printer you will find it opens up all avenues of work. We started with a Roland. We now have a latex HP and a Mimaki. Roland have by far the shortest learning curve. Stay away from Mimaki, more expensive than Roland and literally needs it's hand...

I had a gerber edge, brilliant even though the technology is so old. It was too narrow for what we need so sold it. Real shame they dont bring out a newer wider model. Definitely a market for it.

I have cyan ink dripping from my print head. When i move the carriage to maint position you can see droplets of cyan forming on the head. Then when printing as the carriage changes direction it occasionaly drops off. I have cleaned everything, and cant see anything obvious. Has anybody else had...

Also, sorry if this is a dumb reply but try turning the decal over and removing the release liner from the sticker rather than trying to lift the sticker from the release liner.

As above. Clogged holes. tech spent weeks changing heater elements round, everything he could think of. turned out just give it a clean. You should have an angled brush in your HP service kit. This is for getting to the holes. Heaters can be changed around relatively easily after you spend hours...

We would cut 2.5metre sheets (8 feet ?) 22mil thick 2 passes no problem with type 2 marks. Make the marks nice and thick, also there is a setting for accurate or fast mark reading, do not use the accurate one it is very sensitive, and yes to the quoted text, make your default sheet size bigger...

Had exactly the same issue a few times with the same machine, and like you usually fixes itself. Sorry i never did find out why. I was certain it was a Flexi issue though.
