I have the chance to acquire my first Roland.. SP-300V. It has been sitting for 3 years with no power. It was working fine before left in storage. Obviously the print heads have dried out but what else is guaranteed to be ruined?
Could it be economically salvaged with the right kit/parts?
I was wondering how much printing can be done with the Roland Eco Sol e.g. BN-20 machines. Can they handle being run 8 hours a day or are they designed for light use only?
Are the built-in cutters any good or shall I go with a stand alone cutter for decals etc.?

Oh yes! I'll be doing a lot of vinyl print/cut heat transfers to cotton and heard latex isn't good for that. If I can't get the desired look/feel I need with eco-sol I'll look towards latex.
I'm assuming you're running a HP.. Is that price of ink or the paper? Thanks for your help.

Would you know how aqueous/dye/inkjet paper coating is different to solvent coating?
