Everything was fixed, replaced the captops and the pumps and five days later still working good.

The captops were replaced and the pumps. everything seems to be working fine now. it has been a few days and no errors or dumping inks.

Does anyone have experience with Cap Tops and Dampers from aftermarket most likely china VS roland brand? Are they worth the price savings? Roland captops are $60 to $80 each and the dampers are about $100 each. I found a kit with everything for $130...

would bigger hoses work so the ink does not suction as it comes out? or would that lead to ink drying up as more air can reach the cap top? also for original poster and everyone here I have a thread going on this problem also...
