Hi sorry for the late reply I changed the cables around are these the flex cables ones? that are going into the motherboard as I changed these and nothing happened or are you on about the ribbon cables by the print head? i.e the picture attached

Right fixed this issue for anyone having this issue I did the following: Behind the cut carriage is a sensor I removed the sensor and cleaned it with alcohol and put it back in worked fine. Struggled to find the sensor at first!
