  6. Oval Help Neededn in Photoshop/Illustrator

    I need to make an oval/circle with exactly an 1/2 inch border around it. Is there an easier way in Photoshop or Illustrator accomplish this 1/2 inch border? Is there a way I can input a size for ovals/circles instead of free transforming it? Any help or suggestions are appreciated.

    Okay I'm more savvy in Photoshop, and do my designing on Photoshop more than Illustrator, do I have to ALWAYS make paths? Whenever I make a selection as a path it cuts through some curves of the image. Is there an easier way to turn a rastered layer into a path?

    I can't delete or save over some of the illustrator files that I have exported as Illustrator Legacy EPS. It gives me an error like "Can't save the illustration. The file is locked or in use.
