How do I pinch a text in Illustrator?

    I'm trying to achieve a pinch in a text. I attached a scanned pic to get the idea I'm trying to achieve.

    Effect > Warp > (select from there)

    I don't think that exact look can be achieved with the Warp... The end letters have flatter bases (different curve/angle)...

    Play around with the Envelope Distort stuff under Objects... Bit of a learning curve, but its quick.

    or if you are brave object/envelope distort
    It's a tool that sort of got left behind. I hope they beef it up in CS4
