The marks are generated by the RIP. The printer just prints what is told to print. In Flexi, just set up the job in Rip and Print on the cut tab specify the XC as your cutter and Flexi will generate the right marks for your XC
Pressing pause bypasses the heater warmup. If you wait till the heaters are at the set temperature it will start automatically. If you print before theaters are at temperature you could have print quality issues.
Good luck
I dint think the ink on the bottom of the head is a huge red flag, but I would be looking below the head for a solution at this point. Start with flushing position adjustment, then check the thing from the caps to the pumps. Make sure all joints are tight. Then check the pump to make sure it's...
This is a problem with communication between the main board and servo board. You can try unplugging all of the cables from the servo board (keep the cables that connect the main board and servo board plugged in) If you get a different error, then it's something downstream from the servo board...
It sounds like your ink may be growing mold. Is this dye sub ink? You may need to flush the ink system. Your ink manufacturer probably has a cleaning solution for this or a recommended solution.
Good luck
Have you done the feed calibration on the banner material that you're having the most problem with?
Also some banner material trends to stick to itself, so try unrolling the material before the printer has to pull it. Same thing if a full roll is too heavy for the printer.
Have you replaced...
Will this be backlit? If so make sure you evaluate the print in the same conditions.
You might want to use a translucent or transparent film. If not the 1105 should work fine.
The manifold is the part that you replaced on the printhead. There's a gasket on the underside that seals the manifold to the print head. Make sure that's installed correctly.
Also, there should be an o-ring in the bottom of the damper. Make sure that's in properly as well. They can become...
You can switch both cables from one channel to another - keeping the proper orientation, but you can't swap the two cables from one head with each other. This doesn't strike me as electrical though. Electrical will usually take out the entire head or fire it constantly.
I'd focus on the...
Most printer brochures will list the specs for the printer. Look for environmental specs. For most Roland printers it's 40 - 60% RH No Condensation. In more detailed literature, they specify that 50% @ 78F is the optimal for quality prints.
Check out the specifics for your printer.
I would pull with a syringe from under the cap top. And the cap to should be new if you replaced a head.
It's tough with some Mutoh printers and I don't remember that particular model, but if there are 2 hoses or not if so clamp one off while you syringe the other one. This will tell you if...
Raise the price of your prints a few cents to make up for the difference. If you can't buy it locally or at least in country,I wouldn't risk it. Who are you going to go back to if there's a problem? Who are you found to call when you need a cartridge in a hurry?
Good luck.
