I second the 'try a different mesh'... I have printed a few jobs on mesh on our 700w - never seen any issues like that. (and mesh was some of the first things I printed on the 700w - I used cheap media from Kelly/Spicers.... nothing special, just what they had on hand.)

Find an old letterpress in the correct size for the most accurate die-cutting. These days just about everything is digital plotting, NOT die-cutting.
