Thanks! I appreciate the input. Like I said this isn't what I typically do so I do appreciate the info.

While walking around out there I found several footings with broken 4x4s/6s :rolleyes: Going to have to add some terms and conditions here. Looks like they're going for it.

It's fine... I warranty them for a year and they will last that. Put some braces on the bottom and you're good. These are down and dirty developer signs, they know what they are getting.

Building a road sign is difficult; if you don't have experience with it, it can fall apart quickly. Use ACM panels and 4x6 wood poles if the weather is temperate. Upgrade to steel posts if the installation is permanent. It is preferable to engage a sign business to make your signs.
