As far as one material being better than another.... I think that there are too many variables to give a blanket statement that 3m is better than Avery or Oracal. We're a 3m shop and so we use 3m but if there is a material that's better suited for a specific job or application then that's what we'll use. Also understanding that they do differ a bit means that you can't necessarily install Avery like you do 3M, it doesn't make it worse it's just different.
