48" Waste tray replacements

The ink waste replacement pads that are in the ink waste tray on the 48" Mutoh. Do you just buy em from SW? or do you make your own? Just seams like to me that I could get away with something cheaper than having to buy the actual replacement pads. Paper towel? cotton balls? What do you do?

You can get away with feminine towels. I typically steal them from my GF.

:ROFLMAO:

That works or just buy the original parts, they are cheap... Remember, when using something other that original pads on this particular machine please make sure that the substitute 'pads' do not stick up too high in the top left corner as this will lead drainage issues that will damage the wiper assy...

I got your point, I check my waste tank everyday, I am sure some guys here never inspect it and I can see how will lead into a "disaster"

I was actually thinking the same thing and putting a tube at the end of the funnel to channel the ink to a bottle behind the machine out of sight.
