a mishmash?

it looks like a Cheltenham Ex Bold Cond "G", Bookman style "L" and "E" (minus the center stroke), the curved straight leg of the "R" is throwing me off.

any thoughts?

It looks like an old version of the "GREY LINE TOURS" logo?

Their new logo is much cleaner.

Are you trying to replicate the lettering for a sign project? or just get a handle on the letter style?

it is the old GL diamond.

i need to create some new parts with the old typestyle.

the new eurostyle and comm script parts are not an issue, but this one has got me.

This may NOT be relevant, but why would a designer, or company put so many fonts together in one line of copy?

It could also be that the logo predates the use of electronic type and uses a font that did not make the transition from photo typesetting to electronic.

I downloaded the vector version that matches from Brands of the World and ran it through my font ID software. There was no match.
