Hi Andy...I, too, am a Mechanical Engineer by education and profession. I have worked in Aerospace my entire career so far (3 different places so far). I started my biz as a sideline just over 4 years ago, partly in anticipation of looming layoffs. I survived the layoffs, but continued the business. May of '05 I went full time in the business and continued until Dec. '05 when I got a call from a fell co-worker offering a short-term position (back in Aerospace). Well, here it is 15 months later and I've just recently hired my second part-time employee as I am swamped with work most of the time now.
