Rep try holding the 'Fn' key, then press Alt, then do 0149 on the integrated 10-key pad.
Hard to get used to, but works well for me.

Adding Bullets to text in Photoshop

Handy site that I refer to often as the bullet is the only one I can seem to commit to memory for some reason.

Remember to hold the Alt key then type the numbers on the numeric key pad (be sure Num Lock is on)
I had no idea about the alt-7 either. Thanks yet again signs101!
On a side note, some fonts wont bullet in Photoshop.
