Interested in an inexpensive air scrubber solution. Just installed an epson S80600 in a large open 2000 sq ft. workspace. There is a very slight odor. Just want to err on the conservative side.

Also along those lines, what is everyone doing for outgassing/drying times with this printer. We are spoiled at laminating right after printing with our latex.

A few threads on this, but others are using Digi Dri heaters, which eliminate the wait time on the Epsons.

We used a charcoal filter with an inline blower off amazon. I posted a thread about it with some links. Youd need more than 1 i think.

Make a charcoal filter system. Check out equippaints thread on here as he mentioned. Buy an external heater for the Epson if you are concerned with the wait time to dry. An external heater bakes the prints immediately and you can laminate right after printing.

That heater is pretty pricey. Would something like this work? Its $170 vs $1000. They use these in body shops to cure paint

You will have to do some trial and error to make sure it doesn't have hot spots and to get the distance to print right since there isn't a heat diffuser or temp control. It's also only 36" wide, so you will need 2 of them.

Been using an Island Clean Air system for past 2 years, really pulls out the solvent smell. Change the charcoal in it every 6-8 months.

Actually, we got our used Duster 2000 off off the marketplace here from another user.

New units are pricey, I "think" around $5k....but don't quote me.
