Make an image of your drive using your favorite software and restore that image to a clean hard drive (they are inexpensive these days). If the crap hits the fan, simply put your old drive back in.

If using adobe cs3 and up....
I can guarantee you will have a reactivation nag for adobe stuff at the very least. And possibly a reinstall.

You may. To get around this, deactivate before removing the old drive. You can deactivate from within Photoshop. Then your key will be free to activate again after you install the new drive.

Better yet.. Disable all that crap... and then block every thing via the hosts file.. There. Done and over with...
