Anybody doing the Roland Webinars?

There is one today called 'Creating Profiles for Roland VersaWorks Part I'-
the others I have seen were kinda basic but they post recordings later-
except for the last one I think- which I wanted to review. I rarely have the
hour or two during the day to sit still and watch them but I like to watch
when I have a quiet moment on the weekends. This one (and part II) might
be good I think. Gene

I haven't had time to catch them, but have every intention of reviewing the webinars. Especially this one. Custom profiling is my weak point :smile:

Seems to be invitation only- not sure how I got on the list. The link provided
sez it may not be shared- good for me only. I'm 'special'. I am going to try
to watch this one real time- not EZ during a hectic work day- but I agree
BD- this one could be very worthwhile.

Ask and you shall receive. These webinars are free to registered end users. If you want to see what is coming up, just check the rolanddga.com under Roland Academy Events for the current list. The nice thing about attending them live is that we do answer questions on the fly, but I understand that carving an hour out in the middle of the day can be hard.

Here is a list of all the current archived recordings. It usually takes us a few days to post after the event.

User suggestion... I am a registered roland user, but receive no such emails or notifications. I realise Roland DG must use different databases for each country, but this kinda thing would sure be nice to get from our local offices.

Is there a way I can sign up to a newsletter type thing so I can know about these things in future as well? I have a keen interest in all things Roland ecosol, Versaworks, and colour management.

Unfortunately there really isn't an international list. It would get pretty out of hand very quickly, and 99% of the emails that go to that list would be irrelevant outside of DGA's service areas. However, I will talk to my counterpart in Australia to see if he could publicize this content as it becomes available. I can also keep posting them here.

Dana: any idea why I, a registered user, wasn't notified about yesterday's webinar, as I have been before? I emailed about an hour before the webinar with an inquiry as to why, and I received no reply.

When I tried to register manually online, it only gave other, later webinars available - yesterday's wasn't listed.

That's a coding issue with our website. We're aware of it and we're looking into it. For some reason, the webinar drops off the website the day of. We always post the webinar recording to our youtube account and send to anyone that registers the following week. We're finding that most people like to view the recording on their own time.

We try to post webinars at least a month in advance so people have a chance to register and we blast out three weeks prior to all registered owners who wish to be contacted. If you've hit "unsubscribe" to any of our blasts, you might have been removed from the email listing.
