that comes in 54" rolls? I am having problems finding some. I have been using ORACAL 5600 but that stuff is so darn expensive!

You might want to try Nikkalite, they are pretty big in reflective but not sure if they go up to 54".

We use nikko for some applications, so I have tried it. I need it for digital printing only and my printer doesn't work too well with that topcoat..
3M 3290 is good, but it only goes up to a 48" :/

I have contacted 3 different suppliers and they either don't have 54" or they try to sell me the same stuff I have.. Maybe I need to look in Europe?

We're in the same boat here. We buy Oracal 5600 by the yard when we need 54", but for everything else we buy rolls of 48" 3M reflective.

We do 10 yd rolls.
Blows my mind 3M don't do anything in 54..

3m does have a 54" offering designed for wraps called 780. But if you think Orafol is expensive I think you are going to be disappointed since there is nothing cheaper than orafol in 54" other than Chinese.

The 3m product isn't out yet and is going to be like $2000/roll

Have you ever used the Chinese vinyl? Is it worth a crap?

We have used a few. Some are better than others but overall we haven't been enthused with the print ability of any of them.

There is a company called KTECH that has a decent one but their order minimums suck.

try American traffic safety we have used some of their materials with good results and decent pricing

other than that we use nikkalite in our roland printers and haven't had any problems but we usually just use the 24" rolls

Our 3M rep mentioned this to me the last time he stopped by a few weeks ago (forever been trying to get us away from Nikkalite, we do also use 680CR when its specified) but from what he told me and what their website says about it, 48" is going to be the max width. That being said, since its technically not available yet they might very well ad a 54" roll size which would be nice. Up to now the Oracal has been the only one available in that width that I've been aware of other than the generic Chinese stuff which I've never bothered with.

The main page on 3M's site for reflective does now show the new 780..... http://solutions.3m.com/wps/portal/3M/en_US/Graphics/3Mgraphics/Applications/Reflective-Films/

Of course since its new it will probably hit the market right around 25% more expensive than their 680 making it the new most expensive solvent printable reflective money can buy. Hard telling though, I was surprised that they are not making it an "Envision" product.
