Okay.... who all is going..... and when ??

Perhaps we could all meet up sometime Saturday at someone's booth we all know. We did it at Fellers once or twice, but they don't participate any longer, so maybe someone here is going to be manning a booth. How 'bout it ?? :toasting:

I'm planning on getting there around 10 or so on Saturday. I was hoping Dan would be there in the TyrrellTech booth. How 'bout we meet up at Dan's booth around 12:30 ??

Maybe they'll raffle off a printer to the highest bidder.

Why not 10? Then we could roam around as a group and create disturbances and such...first thing in the morning!

I might not make it at 10, so if that's the plan, I'll just look for a group of troublemakers roaming around aimlessly.................... :Big Laugh

Yeah, I'm probably gonna get there around 10am, walk around asking questions, looking for the deal of the century, get bored and go over to the Trump for a few drinks and a little gambling. However, I must make a stop at the infamous 'WHITE HOUSE'.

That place is known forever for their fantastical and great sandwiches. They've been around from about WWII and have had all the presidents stop in, just about every famous movie star...... and me !!

I always get a few sandwiches and take 'em home because neighbors, employees and friends have standing orders with me when I go down there and if I came back empty-handed, I'd be hung.

Anyway, as it gets closer to the time, we should all set a time to meet, like at Dan's booth or something.

Gino, If you want the best sandwich in S.Jersey, travel down to Sea Isle City, NJ and go to Mrs.Brizzles Buns. Hands down the best Italian hoagie around. No BS! Puts WH to shame!

Gino, are you downgrading? Trump? You went from the Borgata to the Trump? Are you crazy? :)
Nope. When we go down to the shore to stay over, we usually go to the Borgata, but I'm not gonna stay long after the show. Just a little fun and games and then home, so I don't want to drive the extra distance.

Really.... ????????? Puts the White House to shame ??
That's what... about 1/2 hour south or so. I just might have to do that. :thumb:

You had both and are sure ?? Are you near Mrs Brizzles ?? Are you coming to the show ?? I'll just follow you home. ;-)

Brizzles is the shiz....

Too bad the show is effectively down to 5 aisles. It's a shame how the best show in the country has gone so far down hill.

Not only that, but how about how many companies are teaming up and sharing booths to cut costs ??

This was always the best show of the year and you could make some incredible deals. Well, you still can, but your odds are far more limited now. Do you think perhaps, it's because these companies have used up the vast majority of their advertising dollars and just can't afford Atlantic City, or is it a sign that these manufacturers and vendors, just are hurting all around ??

I think the bog boys not coming is just poor management. We have picked up suppliers every year at that show. People we knew nothing about and asked us for an opportunity to earn our business.

Same thing this year. If you're not there as a supplier I deal with now, and your competitor is there, guess who's getting a free chance to take my business away from you? I think it's short sighted. In todays market, I would imagine the cost to gain a customer is rather high. To just flush that cost down the toilet and give your competitors a free chance to take it for almost nothing is beyond me.

We're going and we're planning on buying a rather expensive piece of equipment while there, if it all works out. If you aren't there, guess who didn't get a chance to sell me that?

Shame on all the big vendors for not being there.

I see a lot of little guys at the show, so you're telling me the little guys have more money to spend than the big companies? I don't believe it.

Sorry vendors, you want my business, you can support the trade and it's trade shows.

Plus we just joined USSC too!
