Bid package nightmare

I don't really blame companies for asking what a person wears during work. They could get a 6'5" guy who idenifies as a She and dresses with a mini skirt and halter top and unshaved legs. And since it has ladder work involved, everyone finds out the She does not wear underwear.
Gnubler?

The fact that they reached out means they are dissatisfied with their current vendors or do not have a vendor in this particular service area. This is mostly typical of large projects with multiple locations (gas stations, clinics, restaurants...). It is a good opportunity. You only need to compile this information once to be reused on other, similar types of bids. This is a typical vendor prequalification process, we've helped a lot of national sign companies with this type of request. In fact, this is one of the simpler ones I've seen (they repeat the same request for info three times). This will put you on their "approved vendor list" for future projects. It's also important to note, if they own one restaurant chain, they may own others (and certainly have friends in the industry). Good luck!

Very much the same kind of proposal my employer has to do for NPS and other gov entities. Like others have said, its a pain but once you have it, you copy and paste for other contracts that require similar documentation. A lot of the resume stuff gets copied from employees resumes, I was asked to write up my own experience and past project sheet so my employer could copy and paste it over to any future bids.

Maybe that would help? Asking the people who would be those working on the project to write their own little blurbs? You could edit them of course but then you wouldn't have to write them all yourself.

I've had a couple requests like this, but they tend to reach out and ask to just come present some past work, a gantt schedule, and some sort of statement from vendors ensuring you have a credit line to cover xxx amount of materials for the project. Last one I did for a children's hospital was pretty damned intimidating, until we got there and half the folks I recognized from past projects.
