well since i still havent had a chance to get my digital camera the test print came out good. I also printed on some oracal vinyl last night and came out perfect and on some banner material this morning and no problem..... is it possible for half of a roll to come out good and the other half to be "contaminated" or just not right?

You have dust or other contaminates that landed on the media before or during print. Does this happen further on the same roll?
