Did your electrician ever try the class B GFCI? If this is installed in your home and you are not following NEC code and manufacturer's written recommendation in the installation manual/documentation and someone get electrocuted it will be your and/or your electrician fault, If this is installed in your home and with all the trouble you have had I would tell Grimco you want a total refund and I would look for a printer that can be installed as the manufacture states in their installation documentation.
