Can we discuss politics without getting political?

:ROFLMAO: That's a funny one, Fred. You can't answer that question without going political.

I'm being good. I won't go any further. :omg:

His mother told him "Someday you will be a man,
And you will be the leader of a big old band.
Many people coming from miles around
To hear you play your music when the sun go down
Maybe someday your name will be in lights
Saying Gino B. Goode tonight."

Go go
Go Gino go
Go go go Gino go
Go go go Gino go
Go go go Gino go
Go
Gino B. Goode

But it is a popularity contest whether we like it or not. It's motivating your people - and trying to gain more like-minded people - into voting.

Obama has a site that focuses on the demographic most likely to vote for him (even out of that 1.6% Fred mentions), so it is appealing to those that come across it in a way which invites them to look further.

Romney does not have the same demographic, so I wouldn't expect his site to have that same kind of look. A lot of his voters - and those likely to vote for him - may never even visit the web site. So I don't think they place as much importance on that outreach and focus more on advertising.

Just my thoughts...

Carrying my logic a bit further ...

If 100,000,000 people vote in the upcoming election and only those voters in 10 states matter and only 8% of them are still undecided and each campaign will be spending $1,000,000,000.00, then each of those undecided votes will have $1,250,000.00 spent trying to acquire it. Therefore, in the interests of saving time, I am formally offering my vote to the first candidate who tenders a cashier's check for that amount made out to me.

:thankyou::thankyou::thankyou:

Can we slide back over to a discussion of their color palette and font choices?

yes please as this is a good example of colors, fonts and a whole lot of other things to "sell" us on something. it is fun picking it apart. I brought up the TV ads as I pointed them out to hubby. once you actually see what they are doing, it's fun to look at it that way. it's like sex in advertising. once it's pointed out to you, you can't us-see it. I love stuff like this as they are playing with our heads and think we aren'tsmart enough to notice. the fist thing that struck me was the out of focus the images were when they were talking about the other guy and how crystal clear they were when it was their guy. it was like the Wizard of OZ when they highlighted the difference between KS and OZ with black & white and color.

You haven't gotten your, yet ??

I got mine when the 'stimulus' stuff was going around. It came in a little precious colored envelope and looked real purrty. I thought the color combo was real neat and made me wanna go out and spread the joy. I've been spreading ever since..........

Here's a song for you...............

Fred..........F-A-fay, F-E-fee, F-I-ficky-fi, F-O fo, Ficky-fi fo, F-U fu, ficky fi fo fu....

Remember, use the right cord structure and sing it with a little swing in your step....:peace!:

Excellent point (but damn I wish the NHB was around so I could respond to that. :ROFLMAO:)

It's better to have two hands than one glove.

I should think that focusing on those less likely to vote for you would be more productive. You already have those others in the bag.

Maybe Fred could bring it back for a limited engagement like Disney does with Snow White.
Open the vault - let everyone have a say and then in January seal it back up for another 4 years.....
