Changeable permit option on small construction site signs

So the customer wants to duct tape the permits on his new 18" X 24" 2 sided site signs. The signs will be printed and laminated and the permit will only need to be displayed on one side. The substrate I will be using is 3mm ACM, I suggested Velcro on the sign and Velcro to the back of the a plastic sleeve for the permit.

Any other suggestions maybe something like this will work?

Forgive my comment for seeming like an attack but why does this concern you? are you the one to put permits on it

Absolutely not but the customer wanting to use duct tape on a new sign does.

They asked what the long term after effects are with the duct tape and the 210G laminate. Would the duct tape pull the laminate off, I don't think so but will not guarantee that.

I figured there would be a better way then duct tape.... Just looking for a better alternative to present to the customer

permanently adhere the plastic jacket to the sign. put in permit when necessary

Thought about that but worried about the jacket getting brittle after being in the sun and weather elements. Banner tape on the back of the jacket, just replace when needed. Still an option though
