Channel letter install...

This is an install done by the previous sign company I worked at. Thought some of you may enjoy it. When I get into a difficult project, this is one of the ones I look back on and think "it could always be worse!".

I couldn't fit those letters out my door :omg: I only have a 12' x 14 overhead.

Yowsa, that's something else. :notworthy:

Were you on that particular job ??

No, primarily only the install crew was on-site. I was in the Estimating Department when this was done. It was an interesting job to estimate though...pricing had to be obtained for permits to close downtown city streets, the fees for the helicopter, the time required to manufacture and pre-assemble everything at the shop to ensure a smooth install once on-site. Pretty complicated deal.

What did that istallation run?

Did you hit your numbers or over run?

Is that why you work for yourself? JK

Yikes....that was a while ago. We typically did around 1500 - 2000 estimated per month so I don't recall the final cost but I'm pretty positive we hit the numbers. This is definitely a job we would have made sure we were covered on.

Estimating is enough to make you want to quit and do your own thing, but no that's not why.
