clear vinyl problem

this is weird
printing clear vinyl on roland vp-540 and xc-540 ( i tried both)
and the material keeps bubbling or tunneling off the release liner
now here is the weird part we where just using the same material
yesterday and no problems
it is getting closer to the end of the roll maybe there is about 10-15 ft left
but never saw this before
i checked the temps and everything is normal
and we have printed on other materials today with no problem

tried a brand new roll and everything is fine
still not sure how to get the last 10ft to work on the old roll

is it an old roll. I have some reflective and oddly enough some clear that has done the same thing. In both cases the rolls were at least a year old.

the roll is not that old i probably order it every 3-6 months
and it is in a controlled temp/environment
and it is solvex i get it from fellers been getting it for years with out any problems

I would think that the silcine paper is to slippery. Quality control problem and I have seen it on clear before.

Has anyone found a solution for printing on ultra?
It works sometimes on my vs540 Roland but mostly not.
Anyone have tips or is this material work better on Uv printer?

We do large windows frequently and need a solution or better product.
