I was at one last night and while they were bringing out the food, I got my hand smacked for reaching out for it. I didn't see any written instructions that we had to be seated while eating. Wow, it must've been great too from what my wife told me this morning. Yeah, she had to drive home.... I don't even remember going to bed. GINO.gif

Hope yours turns out great, too.

Our shop party and corporate dividend disbursal party is tomorrow. Since that means just me and my wife it's a pretty entertaining event.

how much do you have to drink to not remember what happened.
I don't care how much I drink, even if I drink so much that I get sick I still remember everything.

Cheers everyone I will have a gentleman Jack tonight, and that will be my Christmas party.

Pro is kinda right. If you consider having 'A' drink as your Christmas party and you remember everything, that's good. However, I don't know anyone that stops at one....... or two.......... unless we're talking about drinking right out of the bottle. Last night, at the party I was at.... I almost polished off a 1/2 gallon of Jameson that was just slightly started when I got there... and no one else was drinking it. Only a little corner was left. That I remember. :clapping: In fact, the bartender asked me if I just wanted the bottle at my table later on. I said SURE !! But it never got there. I had to do it glass by glass.

I rarely get sick..... I usually get full and start slowing down and when I hit the air outside.... wham-bam-thankyou-ma'am... I wanna go home to bed or eat a late snack watching television and just fall asleep.

Hey Pro.... if you don't want hangovers..... start drinking good whiskey. You don't mind a thing the next morning. Beer and mixing whiskeys will give you headaches and sometimes leave you nauseous without throwing up. Believe me....... you're in an area I know a lot about.

Well I am definitely a light weight. Five drinks a night and I am done. 6 to 7 and I will be sick.
Three drinks is about average. My new favorite drink is gentleman Jack on the rocks. And Patron Silver tequila.
And I do love a Presidente margarita from Chili's.
Cheers JR

My son works for me part time now, so he and I will have a little to do on tuesday, our last day before Christmas. Might bring in a couple friends too. Some pizza and Christmas cookies and Christmas music in the background. Gotta dig up my Santa hat now...

Jack Daniels. Period :)

Gino makes an excellent point though. I can drink Jack till it's coming out my pores (my drink is Jack and Seven, double Jack). On a good night I can probably polish of 10-12 of these (I'm 6'4", 300lbs). Next morning I feel great.

if I do that and have just ONE beer thrown in the mix, I'll be a wreck the next day.

That, and red wine. Red wine kills me.

Gino I don't know who taught you about drinking, but I always only have two drinks the first and the last! Who needs to count the ones in between?

You are very correct my friend. That's the one Howard keeps telling me, but I'm always the one buying and it just seems different, from that standpoint. :frustrated:
