Cutter on the fritz

Hey everyone,

We have a Mimaki CG-130LX vinyl plotter here at the shop that has gone on the fritz. It's an older machine, so we're having issues tracking dow replacement parts. What I need is the sensor that detects the width of the material. Part # E400198.

Does anyone by chance have a spare part laying around from an old machine, or have a contact where I can source one? ND Graphics is a no go, tried them already.

Does anyone have a work around that I can do to bypass the need to sense the width of material?

Any help would be great. We're cutting all our vinyl on our tiny Gerber rubber cutter.... tedious at best.

Thanks.

can you jump out the sensor? I would guess its a normally open switch. When it senses material it closes.
