Cutter, Table or Wall?

me and my trusty Sooper Edge ruler are getting tired of cutting down all the Gator, coroplast and excel.
I'm looking for a nice cutter that everyone can use (even the people who make me cringe when they pick up a blade).

I have room for a table cutter or a wall, either the fletcher or the keencut. I must be able to cut half inch Gator, 4mm corplast etc.,
its a maybe for being able to cut down banner or posters.

One last thing, it would be nice to not use the saw for dibond.

What do people think/recommend/use?

I've been using a KOOTO cutter - look in the merchant ads, the maker is a member here. It does fine for everything you mentioned but won't cut aluminum sheet or dibond/poly-metal. So, I recently got a Keencut Wall Cutter but have been so busy haven't had time to get it set up and squared.

*I might be looking to sell the KOOTO if I can find time to get the Keencut up and running... :Big Laugh

Assuming only using for straight edges,

doubt will work for polymetal

I love my safety speed cut.
Look for a used one, I got mine for half of retail at least and it is one of those things you only need to buy once. You can change the blades to handle just about any media. You need 10' on both sides of it to load and unload but it takes up hardly any space.

reading the replies maybe I am missunderstanding what you are looking for

kooto is alas only 3/8 and I need 1/2. (I have been looking at it though).

I have a rotary cutter and it is great for gathering dust and stacking things on.

The safety Speed cutter is a saw...? I can't have that dust and kerf inside the printshop.

Have a safety speed cut panel saw and a table saw in back and fletcher terry wall mount in front. Works great.

We have a 10' Keen and it cuts great.

We have a Fletcher 65" FSC and it cuts great.

The Keen cuts anything except metal, while the Fletcher cuts up to .080 aluminum. Very good investments.

AND it's indexable flow through design allows for much longer lengths.

Yeah, it's on a hinge-like hold-down and you can put pretty much any thickness through, as long as your blade is long enough, but with this feature, you could put 10' by unlimited length. However, the cutting length is still only 124" total. If you wanted to go 50 or 60 feet long, I'd advise doing it on the floor with a sharp knife and straight edge.

Vs

We hade the fletcher for two years. It was fine. Went to a trades how tried the keen cut and bought it that day. Much better machine for ease do use and accuracy.
I also bought a 10' table keen cut. It is great also. We use that mainly for trades how displays.
