Cutting Chipboard with Roland?

ams

I have a Roland Versacamm VP540-i and a Roland GX-24.

Can either of these cut chipboard using the 60 degree knife?

I forgot to mention that it'd be closer to heavy poster paper, not like corrugated cardboard or anything. Perhaps even a deep score? But I am afraid it will break the blade or jam up the motor on the plotter. I looked into custom dies but they are expensive.

i have scored .015 styrene or pvc also .020 card stock for a prototype box on my vp540 make sure you raise the print head because when you do the sheet set up you can get a head strike. i wouldn't go any thicker then that and you will have to finish the cut through with a razor or xacto knife
