USPS is fine with me, for packing it depends on if you have a box for the processor or not. If you don't have the original box, then ship it with the MB. Ram will be fine left on the MB.
I have thermal paste I can reapply the CPU.
Also as for your new rig:
In order to use 32gigs, you'll have to get Win7 Pro or better. I didn't realize this when I got my 24gigs and it sucked waiting for newegg to send me a new one and waiting for them to refund me on the one I bought.
