dibond expansion?

I'm installing a 48ft long x2ft high dibond sign made up of 8ft panels. since it's still cold this time of year, what kind of expansion should I expect in the hot summer months? I'll be installing to a wood frame bolted to the building.

Should I install with a gap?

All I can tell you is we did a 16' with no gap years ago. You still have to stand right next to it to see the seam. We used 3mm DiBond random panels.
We get below zero in the Winter and high 90's in the Summer.

I've had the same experience, no noticable expansion/contraction.

ACM expansion is nearly identical to aluminum.

Probably doesn't matter much how much breathing room you give it. The wood frame is going to expand and contract at a totally different rate then your substrate.

ok, so I should be good just butting the panels and screwing to the frame.
I did a little digging, Dibond publishes 2.4mm per meter over 100 degrees.
But I guess the frame will expand even more.
