I hard piped the vacuum up to the ceiling and then to the center of the table, taped the flexible tube on and added cable clamps, then bungeed the slack up to a rafter, that way if it ever gets hung up on something it'll pull the slack loose.
We just use chains, mounted to J hooks on the ceiling rafters.
Move your spindle to the farthest point away from the vacuum and suspend the hose accordingly (so it doesn't sag down in the way when the spindle moves elsewhere).
