If anyone out there has suggestions on obtaining clean fills and crisp text on stickers and smaller items on vinyl on an HP Latex 365, I'm all ears. We typically use Orajet 3258 and HP Prime Air vinyl for much of our print and cut items. Good luck!
1. Verify that nozzle performance is good - run a Nozzle Test print to verify this.
2. Perform a printhead alignment - there are two types of alignment, automatic and manual. Accurate printhead alignments are critical for grain reduction. Various SAV films will exhibit different amounts of grain.
3. For small type, use the10-pass uni-directional print mode. It permits printing down to 4-point type. This print mode has been available for about a year on the 500 Series, and is new on the 300 Series. It makes a big difference in type clarity for both positive and negative type. Make sure that your firmware is up to date on your printer:
