Stopped in the craft store and got some self adhesive felt.
That worked, the only difference is that the felt is a bit stiffer that the one on the squeegees that are bought with the felt on.
That gave me an idea about install magnets.

Bought few of them and wrapped them with felt. It beats $8-$9 for the "Installation magnets"
