Well there is an endless supply of good restaurants at Foxwoods, you can't go wrong with their buffet or there is a nice Asian restaurant in the hall that leads to MGM. I was supposed to be attending the show on Friday also but I'm not sure I can make it now. Whenever seafood is mentioned in CT, the Chowder Pot usually comes up but it's not my favorite place. Max's Oyster House is a top rated place along with others, here's a link with some good choices: http://www.ehow.com/list_6310311_five-star-seafood-restaurants-connecticut.html
Gary, Thanks I'lll check the link. I've been coming here for 4 years and have yet to really be impressed with the food at the casino. In the mood for some local flavor.
It has been many years since i have been in that area, but a place called The Fisherman, in Noank, which is the next town down the coast from mystic used to be awesome. Their Monkfish was better than lobster, by a lot.
