Well there is an endless supply of good restaurants at Foxwoods, you can't go wrong with their buffet or there is a nice Asian restaurant in the hall that leads to MGM. I was supposed to be attending the show on Friday also but I'm not sure I can make it now. Whenever seafood is mentioned in CT, the Chowder Pot usually comes up but it's not my favorite place. Max's Oyster House is a top rated place along with others, here's a link with some good choices:

Gary, Thanks I'lll check the link. I've been coming here for 4 years and have yet to really be impressed with the food at the casino. In the mood for some local flavor.

S&P Oyster in Mystic gets great reviews.
You should alaso check out Stonington if you have time.
Like Mystic without the tourists

Bill, I saw S&P when I was searching. I'll have to give them a harder look. Not gonna have much time for wandering, gotta be back in NY sat.

I usually just get a clam roll or fried oysters at the take out place on the right on way into Mystic...but a nice meal is always a great indulgence.

The Fisherman in Noank

It has been many years since i have been in that area, but a place called The Fisherman, in Noank, which is the next town down the coast from mystic used to be awesome. Their Monkfish was better than lobster, by a lot.
