I check for ink from time to time, so I just looked and found this

It's beyond me why someone would sell an empty ink cartridge for $25.00 !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Are they really worth anything ? Last time I recall some of you folks saying Staples will give you $2.00 for them.

That's like the guy that sold the empty PS3 box and all the packing for something like $300-$400. People don't read the entire listing, and think they are getting a good deal...And that is what the seller is hoping, that someone will come along, and see it, think its a great deal, and make and extra $25...

the cart has a chip on it,, Often the chip can be reused.. That chip can be removed and used to activate non OEM carts..
OOPS! did I just let the secret slip?

The chip from what I know has a memory doesn't it ? or else how would it know how much ink you have used.

I can put a piece of tape completely over my chip and still print . Versa-works shows it as full. So basically I don't even need a chip.
