sunday evening, decided to see if i remember how to throw on a wheel. 1st lump of clay, centered on the 2nd push, opened and WALA............i still got the basics, need to practice a little more. sorta like ridin a bicycle, you never forget.

Looks like fun. I took a pottery class about 14 years ago at the community college. I needed another art class and the girl I was chasing at the time did a lot of pottery stuff. Had fun with it but not really good at it. Maybe I was a little to distracted at the time.

iam a little "paranoid" when it comes to what a little fire can turn into. lost the house/bar with all of my parents memories, and my childhood stuff..........moved here in 98 and almost burnt this place down. JUST HAPPENED TO HAVE THAT FIRE BOTTLE...........handy, then the fire dept showed up. without that one in the pic, i might be livin in the shop))))))))))))))

Hey OP, I had a friend, who has since past away, that lost his left arm in a
pug mill. He taught himself to throw pots with one hand.

I get my truck running I'm going do some traveling for a few customers I wanna see some cool pottery when I get near by...

I had a friend years ago who had a withered hand. Because it was so small he was able to make the most beautiful pots ever. he was a well respected professional potter in England.
kgirl that was really funny. when I saw the thread I could not help but look too.

well.....looking at the last picture......as long as he keeps a few fingers on the inside of the rim with full attention......it should stay up for him....:birthday:
