I have an XC-540.. Doing all my designs in Illustrator and sending that to versaworks.
I'm printing on Substance material for motocross graphics.
I have ran a million different tests to get the right black and I have no idea where to turn now. I've tried the pure black versaworks spot color, and every recommended CMYK value for black as well. I've even tried both CMYK and RGB settings before I print the sample. (I am using the right profile for the material as well)
Every black I get has a slight tint of either purple or brown. The only catch is, you can't see it until the sun hits it. Being that it has a slight color in it, it makes it look metallic under the sun and when a rider scratches it up - They look trashed!
Does anyone have a clue what could be the issue? Thanks for any advice.
