If you don't understand Twitter (still?) you probably won't get why G+ is great.

Despite that any small business needs to be concerned with their SERPs and Google Places ranking and G+ activity is a another good way to influence both.

because it doesn't have EVERYONE on it like FB does. In my community it's not taking off yet. Still pretty stagnant

Stagnant??? It was just opened up to business pages.. Give it a few months and lets see what is stagnant.

REAlly... Look at G+ stats and you will see mark Z at the very top. Even higher than the founder of google.
