I love when these non-sign makers post their projects and try to make their own tutorials. This is such a joke. Using a piece of tile for a squeegee? using Oracal 631 (a drywall interior only vinyl) to put on granite? Putting it over the fireplace so the heat will make it peel?

These are usually moms that have a bunch of tiny kids running around and this is what they do during nap time. It's a hobby. They have fun doing it. They get to know other tiny kid-moms and share projects with each other. If they're having fun and connecting with each other, what's the big deal?

Looks like one of 10 million projects on Pinterest...I have 1-2 women come in every week asking for vinyl decals for their old windows, pails and mailboxes and quite a few ask for stencil mask for painting projects also. I use whatever vinyl I have laying around...no complaints yet! (not me in the pic, just some happy customers)

I see nothing wrong with what she did. Squeegee was a piece of formica (sample), tile was going on the mantel. So what if it peels if they light the fireplace?
