My last visit with Rick...he is doing a lot better, talking and in general physically he seems fine...there does seem a bit of memory loss though. Another week in the hospital and then a long period of rehabilitation.

tammy, so glad to hear he's improving. i hope his memory loss is temporary. it can be such a hard thing to deal with (maybe even harder for the forgotten loved ones). even if he's not able to return to the same line of work, you're friendship sounds strong... it will survive this.
