oh, I see. it hasn't happened to me - I typically cut colored vinyl on stand-alone plotters, not the printer/plotter. I thought you meant it was a print-cut, but you cut it first, then print it - which sounds weird.
You can do that on the mimakis, cut then print. If it isn't laminated, it's supposed to keep it from curling as you cut.

I printed a good part of a 50yd roll of static cling thinking it was IJ35. Took me a while to figure out wondering why it was not sticking to the coroplast.
Oh geez, that sucks! I'd probably consider salvaging it with a roll of double-sided adhesive -- if cost effective to do so. (not that I've ever purchased / used wide format double-sided adhesive, but it might work).
